The HEPNESS project has been presented by our scientific coordinator at the HEPA Cluster event, organized by the EACEA in Brussels on 4-5th December 2017.
During the specific workshop “Transport infrastructure and environment” HEPNESS has been considered very innovative and coherent with the idea that cities play a crucial role in the promotion of physical activity for the health of citizens.
The participants at the workshop shared the idea that decision makers should improve their awareness about the societal and environmental role of sport.
That’s why the hepness perspective, based on:
- a knowledge framework for decision makers
- people centered design
- culture and nature based solutions for physical activity promotion
has been largely appreciated.
